Having never hired a decorator, I was concerned that my vague explanation of wanting to update the look of my living room would result in a room that reflected the designer but not me. Jennifer listened closely, paid attention to the art and other treasures I wanted to include, got the scale and fabrics just right, and created a beautiful room that is warm, inviting, and just the right degree of casual elegance I wanted but had trouble articulating.
